zsociety.co (formerly vol. z) is founded by Akel K. Abiem.

Akel is a freelance illustrator/artist based in Calgary, Alberta. Akel’s work ranges from multiple styles, such as minimalism, surrealism and concept art. Self-taught, Akel specializes in several graphic design mediums, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop). Akel also specializes in manufacturing apparel and accessories, including sweaters, t-shirt designs etc.
